"There are some things you may have and hope to never need to use, and this is one of them. I am very happy to have found your website for the unusual items with great prices."
"Perfect addition to our bug out bag."
"I always keep one of these in my ski jacket. Laceration injuries skiing are frighteningly more common than people might realize. We had our own close call a few years ago and heard enough stories.
The "Good Samaritan" laws where we go support non-professionals such as myself attempting to save a life in such a critical situation. Lately the ski coaches there have gotten "Stop the Bleed" training and carry their own, too.
This item is particularly good for this scenario since it has no plastic or metal bits that might themselves cause injury if one were to fall with it in a pocket."
"I always keep one in the ski jacket."
"I feel safer having this in the back of my truck. Even if I have not used it yet, I am confident that with the help of the video, I will be able to apply the tourniquet to myself or my family in the event of a tragic incident."
"I’ll admit it up front. I haven’t used this yet. But frankly I hope I never do. However I did choose it due to operation and color. It is in my backcountry trauma kit. The design of this tourniquet allows one handed application over a wide number of positions. I have other tourniquets and for my intended use, this one makes the most sense."
"A must carry."
"Our small police department does not have a budget for the more expensive NAR tourniquets, but now issues these. We have been trained on how to deploy and I found it to be super easy and more natural to use this tourniquet than others. Not a fan of the black colored version we were issued but got approval to buy and carry the orange one from here."
"Department Issued for us now."
"While some of the battle, military type tourniquets I think work better for that one purpose, I like these for their versatility. Tourniquet use, pressure bandage over a wide area with less than tourniquet pressure, works great in conjunction with splints like the SAM splint. I'll not be replacing my other tourniquets with these but they are an additional asset to anyone's kit."
"Of all the tourniquet choices out there this is one of the better choices for use on children in particular. Other quality tourniquets on the market that are an excellent choice for adults don't always get small enough for a very small child. I'd also like to add that a bright colored tourniquet has it's advantages."
"Affordable and better choice for use on children"
"Added this tourniquet to my personal EMS bag. The organization I am in just added the CAT tourniquet to the list of protocols. Hoping that they will add the SWAT-T. It has more applications. One that I see is the ability to be cut in two or three to be used on children. So one SWAT-T can potentially be used effectively on two to three small persons. Were as the CAT-T, is awesome and proven on the battle field, can and is only meant for one person application. Just my two cents. The SWAT-T and the CAT both belong in a go bag, mass casualty bag. It is in my EMT bag."
"SWAT-T belongs in your EMS bag."
"This item needs to be in every first aid kit, whether in the house or the car and especially if you are an outdoors enthusiast. Unrolled, it stretches to form a tight tourniquet and can be used to hold pressure bandages in place. It is easy to apply and if the need arises, reposition. As with all tourniquets the time and date of application need to be written on the tourniquet or the patient. The bright orange color helps identify at a glance if the tourniquet is still present and helps emergency responders go straight to the wound."
"A must have for first aid kits, large or small."
"I work in construction and yesterday a guy tripped in front of a bobcat and get his foot ripped WIDE open by the forklift attachment.
This was my first time using this product outside of training years ago. It worked flawlessly at cutting off blood flow and was simple to apply under stress. simplicity was really nice for when the adrenaline lizard brain kicks in. No fine motor skills needed.
I ordered 2 more of the orange version yesterday night."
"Easy to use when adrenaline kicks in."
"I witnessed a bad car accident and was the first one to respond. I looked to see who needed medical attention first. I saw a old lady that had a huge open wound on her arm. It wasn't bleeding so I didn't need to use my tourniquet. I used this h bandage to cover her open wound. The fighter fighters and professionals thanked me when they arrived. 'You will always have the opportunity to save someone's life than to take someone's life'. "
"This mini pressure bandage is the perfect size to accompany a compact chest seal and rapid gauze on an ankle med pouch."
"This product is outstanding. It is small and lightweight, perfect for a on body carry kit or something event bigger like a traditional blow out kit that might be in a vehicle or attached to a belt or chest rig. This particular bandage is awesome because it will do what larger bandages will do in a smaller and more compact packaging."
"Perfect for a on body carry kit or something event."
"This is exactly what I was looking for. Small enough for pocket and big enough to be effective."
"Best gauze, many more features than NAR gauze"
